Finally A Makeup Post

Dear Friends,

Finally I am doing a post that involves makeup! The first basic thing you need to know about make up: Brushes can make a HUGE difference in how your makeup turns out. When I was first started to do makeup, I found an article that talked all about brushes and what you need.

From People Style Watch Magazine:
Top Brushes that are Essential in Makeup:
1. A brown brush that is double sided- This can help you shape your eyebrows so that you have no strangely hairs :)
2. An eye shadow brush- There are tons of different kinds of  eye shadow brushes. I suggest one you can use to blend shadows, so like a medium size brush.
3. A blush brush- This is used to put blush on. (clearly haha)  Get one that suits your cheek bone.
4. A foundation brush- A brush can give you a cleaner and better look than using your hands to spread foundation.
5. A powder brush- This can help you BIG TIME avoiding a flakey look powder can sometimes give you.

Brush Care Tips
From October Issue of People Style Watch
- Wash your brushes once a week
-Use baby Shampoo
- Dry them flat
-Store Upright

Some I am sure most of ya'll are saying "I don't even have brushes this is pointless." Well I promise using good brushes will make a huge diffrence on the results of your makeup! You can find brushes anywhere. Target even has a good selection of brushes! Sonia Kashuk (a designer) has a makeup kit for only 24.99$ at Target! Check it out because it has all the essential plus more!

The Braids!!!

Dear Homies,

Ok... so I officially have a new obsession. Braids! They are seriously so in right now! I really really like how you can dress a braid up and make it fancy, or you can wear a casual braid.

Types of braids- This link should show you some of the different types of braids. I personally am so bad at doing my hair but you tube is a really great way to teach you how to do each one of these braids!

Basic Braid- Most people can do this Braid,

Fish Tail Braid- This is a little more difficult but the Video is really helpful!

Lauren Conrad Braid- This is my favorite braid. It is so cute and you can wear it any day!

French Braid- This is a really corny video. Haha best I could do!

Waterfall Braid- I love this braid. Its really popular and pretty hard. I hope this Video helps!

If you have anymore braids you want to learn how to do, you can always look more up on youtube!

SECOND PART OF THIS POST
People need to seriously STOP killing squirrels while driving!!!!!!!
Today while driving to basketball, I had to see a women kill a squirrel. The poor baby flipped over her car than landed in front of our car squirming around with blood squirting everywhere. I know this post is reallly graphic, BUT STOP KILLING SQUIRRELS!

Fall Outerwear

Dear Fall Fashion Lovers!

So its finally starting to get cold out! Every girl need that one perfect coat/ jacket/ sweater to get them through the winter! So here are a few tips on how you can find that perfect fitting coat for winter!

Always make sure that you have the right length. You never want to get a coat that fits at an weird length. Sometimes coats are meant to long or short. Find what fits you best.

Make sure you have the appropriate under garments. This is pretty self explanatory, but avoid anything that would change the original fit of the garment.

The Sleeves should be perfect. Make sure that the end of the coat fits at your wrist where you want it to. Avoid big baggy sleeves.

It should fit just right. Make sure that when you are buying a coat you can close it COMPLETELY. You should be able to move around in it and it should allow some breathing room!

I have looking for some great coats myself and here are few places you could find them!

Urban Outfitter- This has a huge selection of really fun and funky coats. I personally think Urban has the best selection, but it depends on your style.

Nordstroms- This has some really great classic coats!

Forever 21- This isn't necessarily the best quality but it will always have something you like. This link has coats and sweaters but it also has blazers and the tips above apply to them too.

Land's End - This could have some of the coolest coats. It is guaranteed that you will find something you like!

I love finding people clothing items, so if you have a particular thing you are looking for let me know!

Much Love,
Me

Officially Starting my Beauty Blog!

Dear Friends,

I am officially starting my beauty blog! I hope this will give everyone some great advice on how to do make-up, hair, and an overall view on fashion! I really hope ya'll will like it!

Just as an introduction, I know all of us have our flaws and I guarantee every single one of us reading this has insecurities! One of the main things about looking great is having an overall really good attitude with the way you feel. If you feel pretty inside than it will show through outside!

SO...today's blog will be about skin care!!!
I know most of you all are probably thinking "I'm pretty sure I know how to clean my face." Well here are just a few tips that may help you out!
You should always have a daily skin care routine. It takes you about 21 to 28 days to form a habit! So have routine for three weeks and then you will form a good habit of ALWAYS washing your face.

WAYS TO PREVENT ACNE: This is a good one!
- You might not realize it but actually being out in the sun and not using sunscreen could cause breakouts! Always wear sunscreen, Although I know it is the winter right now :)
- Avoid using too many skin products at once. Stick to using the same brand of products! I personally use Clinique Skin Care products and it works like a charm.
- Try not rub your face against your hands, cell phone, or anything that could contain germs.
- Chin breakouts usually come from toothpaste that has whitening! If you switch over to a different kind of non whitening tooth paste, that could help.

Tricks to Help With Removing a Zit FAST
from Beauty Secrets by: Diane Irons

-Hemorrhoid Cream takes down the swelling of a pimple.
-Eye Redness Drops take the redness out of a pimple. If used with the Hemroid cream the pimple should appear invisible.
- Tea Tree Oil is a very effective and nature antiseptic for breakouts. Tea tree oil is the least drying acne fighter, so you won't end up with a dry flaky patch afterwards.
*Remember these are supposed to be used on pimples not your whole face*

On one last note. NEVER POP YOUR PIMPLES!
Hope this helped! Give me your feedback

Me
